'Charlie Boots at 204 Gloucester Rd, Bristol'
Charlie Boots is now showcasing amongst other artists and designers at 204 Gloucester Road, Bristol where ‘It’s about being conscious’.
This means we
favour a conscious attitude; be it awareness to the raw materials and
production or a reinvention through recycling. We also actively recycle by
representing what was once discarded.
Local designers include Katcha Bilek
who makes bags from lorry inner tubes and Joanna Rose who juxtaposes
contrasting elements onto ceramics from vintage and contemporary
transfers.
From further afield there is Kirsty
kirkpatrick who makes jewellery using found furniture, recycled
materials, broken jewellery, suitcases and scrap leather from the
upholstery industries. She transforms waste into something covetable and
unique.
We also have designers producing
decoupage furniture and jewellery, organic crocheted accessories, bags
from reclaimed leather, bags and homewares from 50's and 60's fabrics
and a whole lot more.
If you feel you would like to contribute in some way then please email Charlie@charlieboots.com.
'Charlie Boots at 204' is open
Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m untill 5.30p.m. we are next door to 'Fig'
